Why Balaio?
In Brasil, a balaio is an ancestral handcrafted straw basket used to carry a bit of everything — food, fabrics, everyday objects. It represents mix, diversity, and ingenuity, all woven together with care.
I draw creative solutions from my own balaio too, blending references, languages, cultures, textures, sounds, and flavors.
A creative mix shaped by a sharp eye and a wide, ever-growing repertoire.
